Sri City, March 10, 2016 :- Mumbai based Parksons Packaging, one of India’s leading manufacturers and exporters of printed and laminated folding cartons, now proposes to establish a manufacturing base at Sri City. Accordingly, in an auspices ceremony held on Thursday, marking the start of construction, Mr. Ramesh Kejriwal, Chairman of the company broke the ground and laid the foundation stone in the presence of Mrs.
Anjali Kejriwal, Director and Mr. Chaitanya Kejriwal, Joint Managing Director.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ramesh Kejriwal said,”Parksons is foraying into South region by setting up a unit at Sri city DTZ. We selected Sri city for setting up a new unit because of its strategic location, infrastructure and excellent service to entrepreneurs”
Commenting on the entry of the company in Sri City, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City said, “We are delighted to add
Parksons to our client base, and we look forward to working with them as they continue to grow their business.”
“With a burgeoning FMCG and food processing & beverage market, the Indian packaging industry is on ‘never before’ growth mode. I am confident, the new plant will add significant value to Parksons and help further strengthen its position in the market,” he added.
The plant, will focus on producing and processing folding cartons, will be built in a 10 acre plot, at an investment of Rs. 70 crores during the initial phase. The facility is expected to be commissioned by this October. It will provide employment opportunity for about 300 persons.
