Sri City, March 31, 2017:- Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MAICCI) arranged a get-together with the Hon’ble Prime Minister of Malaysia Mr. Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai on Friday, in which top industrialists and business tycoons took part.
Addressing the Indian captains of industry & Business the visiting prime minister Mr. Najib Razak invited them to invest in Malaysia and said,”There is enormous potential in investing and conducting business in Malaysia. Our market is open for your business and ideas.”
Interacting with Mr. Najib Razak, Mr. Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City briefed him on the unique features of the integrated business city and urged to depute the visiting business delegation to visit Sri City. He extended a warm invitation to the business delegation to visit Sri City to assess its business potential and explore investment opportunities. Also, he offered to set up an exclusive Malaysian Enclave, should there be any need.
Other dignitaries present included MAICCI Secretary-General Datuk Dr AT Kumararajah, Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S.Subramaniam and Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa.
Top industrialists and business tycoons attended the MAICCI’s get-together and shared their thoughts and exchanged ideas on areas that both nations can commit to work on. This anchors the motive of Indian Prime Minister to gain synergy and counsel on ways to accelerate all economic partnership between India and Malaysia.
Mr. Najib Razak is on an official visit to India from March 30 to April 4. His entourage includes about a dozen cabinet ministers and a large business team comprising 80-100 members representing infrastructure, telecom , finance and a few other sectors.
